At Namutumba Community Hospital, we ensure that all donations are securely managed through our Hospital Bank Accounts in Switzerland and Uganda. For our supporters in Europe, you will receive a notification from Namutumba Community Hospital acknowledging receipt of your contribution. Every donation received is carefully distributed to support the delivery of essential services to our patients. This includes the purchase of medications and medical supplies, salaries for our dedicated staff, procurement and maintenance of equipment, and the construction and maintenance of our facilities.
Annually, our hospital management team drafts a budget that outlines the allocation of funds to specific departments, ensuring that resources are used effectively to provide the best possible care to our community.
Once the budget is approved, expenditures are made based on the availability of funds. All withdrawals are made with the signature of the three authorized signatories of the hospital by signing a check. We are committed to the transparent and responsible use of all donations received, and we thank you for your support in helping us achieve our mission.
While monetary donations are preferred, as they allow us to purchase the supplies and equipment we need regularly, we understand that some may prefer to donate specific items.
We are grateful for the support of our donors and partners, as 80% of the funds that sustain Namutumba Community Hospital come from individual donations to our partner, NAMUTUMBA COMMUNITY HEALTH SWITZERLAND, an association connected to one of our co-founders.
In our efforts to meet our objectives, we are actively seeking partnerships with organizations around the world. These partnerships will allow us to organize surgical camps where specialists can perform procedures and share their knowledge with our hospital staff. This will help to maintain the sustainability of the services we provide at NCH.
